We thought it would be fun for this Seasonal newsletter, to add a bit of excitement and anticipation. So … in addition to our wonderful stories and updates about our adopted cats, we are adding a bit of the unknown. I think we are all familiar with Advent Calendars…and what fun it is to open a window a day during the Holiday Season. And we are all familiar with the song “Twelve Days of Christmas”. We made an advent calendar of Christmas tree of ornaments that will be from December 13 to December 24.
Each day, you will be able to click on that day's ornament. When you click on the ornament you will see either a spotlight on particular cats and kittens now being lovingly cared for at KAS or a chance to enter to win that day's prize. There are six spotlights and 6 PRIZES including a KAS T-shirt, a KAS Hat, a KAS 2023 calendar, as well as a Bentley’s Bakery cake, a Maple Grove Gift Basket, and a one night stay for two at the Danville Restaurant and Inn, with Steve’s famous breakfast included.
The rules to win the prizes will vary each day, and you can only enter on that day, so be sure to check in every day from December 13th - 24th! Instructions on how to enter will be included on each day, and winners will be notified by email.
We are grateful to the volunteers who set up this event and to Maple Grove, Tarah Fontaine of Bentley’s Bakery, and Steve Cobb of the Danville Restaurant and Inn for making this event possible. And we are so grateful to all our volunteers, supporters, and adopters. You all make Kingdom Animal Shelter one very special place for kitties in need.
