2026 KAS Cat Calendar Contest
It is almost time for our 2026 KAS Calendar Contest! Do you have a great photo of your cat(s)? We'd love to have you submit them for our 2026 calendar contest!
Every year we do a photo contest to determine the photos featured in our annual calendar. The public submits their favorite cat photos, and then we hold a contest for everyone to vote on their favorite photos. The top 13 photos are featured in our calendar!

Calendar Timeline
- Photo submissions will be accepted from April 15 to May 15
- Public voting will be held from May 17 to June 1
- Contest results will be available after June 3
- Calendars will be available for purchase starting in late Fall
Photo Submission
Submit your photo via email to [email protected]. Include in your email:
- Your first and last name
- The pet’s name(s) in the photo
- Email address, town

Only one photo per household may be submitted.
You will receive a confirmation email within 5 business days of your submission. If you do not receive a confirmation email please contact us.
Please read all photo requirements before submitting your photo:
- Square or landscape (NOT portrait)
- The photo must include a cat, and can also include other pets, no humans
- Photos must be in focus and clear from obstruction
- Photo must be of high quality, at least 1.5 MB (1,500 KB) in size
- Photos cannot have any text or logos
- Professional photos must include written permission by the photographer
- The photo must be submitted by the owner of the cat, or with written permission of the owner (with permission of the owner included with the submission)
- The photo cannot have been a winning photo in a past KAS Calendar Photo Contest
By submitting the photo, you provide permission for Kingdom Animal Shelter to use the photo in the Kingdom Animal Shelter photo contest, the KAS 2026 Calendar, on the KAS website and Facebook page, and in any other marketing material. We reserve the right to refuse any photo.
