Addie’s story: an update

Helen Morrison: President, Board of Directors

Picture
Remember Addie?  That absolutely adorable little kitten we featured in the September newsletter?  She has truly stolen all our hearts.  She came to us in late August, her face a mess from an attack by a predator. Since then, with much tender loving care and skilled attention by Dr. Sally and our volunteers, Addie’s face is healing well.  Her left eye is clear, her nose is mending.  She is full of the joy of being alive.  She spends her days playing with the other kittens in the Shelter.

She is full of confidence.  And over time, with careful thought to next steps for her mending, her future is bright, and we will find her the most perfect home.

That’s what I love about our Shelter.  We take the time to nurture and to heal!
