Spotlight on Ashley and Earl Grey
Helen Morrison, President, Board of Directors
In August of 2025, we got a call that several cats had been abandoned in a rented house when the renters moved out. Three cats came to the Shelter. One, whom we named Ashley, was quite pregnant. She went into foster care with the Gerritts family, one of the best places for the mama to be. On Sept. 1, Ashley gave birth to five beautiful kittens, two of which looked just like her, white with a grey smudge on their foreheads. Three were a beautiful grey. Several of them were polydactyl.
Over the next months, at the appropriate time, two of the grey ones were adopted out, Doodle Bop and Dibbles. Then the two white with grey forehead smudges were adopted, Boba and Pearl.
Now Ashley and one grey one, Earl Grey, are awaiting their forever home. They are quite bonded and make a beautiful pair. Mama Ashley is very sweet and very well socialized. And Earl Grey is a very gentle little boy, also very well socialized.
They are looking to be adopted together. They will bring joy and love into a quiet, caring home!! Perhaps yours is just that home for this gorgeous mother and son duo.
