Mama Cats and Their Kittens
-Helen Morrison
A young woman drives up to the Shelter door. In her car, she has a very shabby crate, inside of which are four very dirty, wet felines. She has found them by the side of the road, abandoned.
Two are young feline mothers, maybe a year old. And two are young kittens, around 3 months old, give or take. They are just lovely…though one female, Daisy, is in need of nourishment and loving, tender care. She seems a bit low key and weak.
They are now settled into our new, luxurious kitty space…and are having a ball. Toffee is the youngest, a very playful, active boy. We think he is Daisy’s son. Daisy is now well fed, tended to, and very outgoing.
Marigold is a gorgeous dilute calico…very human oriented. We think that Sweetie is her daughter. Sweetie is about as friendly and cute as it gets…purring all the time.
Now that we have had them a while and have fallen in love, of course…we think that Daisy and Toffee should go home together, and Marigold and Sweetie.
Mother and daughter, mother and son. How cute is that!!!
Let us know if you have room in your home and in your heart for these very sweet new KAS kitties!
