Our latest Cat Tower Assembly Assistant: Maple
-Helen Morrison
Need any help? Can’t figure out those cat tower directions? We have just the purrson to help you.
Maple came to the Shelter on April 15, 2025. She had shown up at a friend-of-the-shelter’s. She was terribly matted, so matted, in fact, that three of her limbs were matted to her body…making it very difficult to move around. She received a lion cut, freeing up her legs and arms.
It also turned out that Maple was pregnant. She gave birth at the Shelter to 3 adorable kittens on April 26. They are now in foster care.
Maple could be difficult for the volunteers to care for, at times lunging, or growling, swatting at legs. But over time, with the patient love of volunteers, Maple is relaxing…and as you can see from the photos…she enjoys spending time in the Med Suite, while folks work on whatever tasks. Now and then she allows petting…and even loves to help out!!!
