Lotti
Maple had her kittens!!!
-Helen and Julia Tucker and Family
On April 26, our Shelter resident kitty, Maple, gave birth to 3 adorable kittens. She was in a lovely big room with windows, and had the perfect protected “birthing tent”. Maple has been a wonderful, protective, doting mom.
On June 26, the three kittens, Quince (orange), Brownie (dark torti), and Lotti (tabby and white), were ready to go to kindergarten with the Tucker Family. Here is the latest update of these three cuties.

Quince
July 12:
“The kittens are gaining trust and confidence and are now able to explore the house while supervised. They continue to love wand toys and cat trees and now they also love stairs. The other day Lottie went to sleep purring on Salem's hand while getting scratched under the chin. She is the most social of the three and will initiate contact with us requesting attention. Quince is the most playful and adventurous. They all get along well with our family cat, Wart. Brownie is still the most cautious around people, but she loves batting around Wart's tail and starting games of chase with any of the cats. They had a field trip to the shelter earlier this week to have a check-up with Sally and Patty and they love their new pedicures because their claws aren't catching on everything so much. The stool sample Sally requested was left in the door of the med suite fridge Friday evening. I got to give slow blinks to Maple through her window and tell her that they are safe and loved. She just watched me and seemed pretty relaxed at the top of her perch there. “
