Spotlight on Patrick & Toby

Picture

Written by Julia Persch

Patrick and Toby are two super-friendly handsome boys. They are very close friends and are looking for their forever home together.

Patrick, the tuxedo, is 4 years old. His fur is very plush and soft, just like his personality. He is gentle, affectionate and a little shy to begin with, but he forgets all shyness when a person gives him loving attention. He is such a cuddlebug. He likes to curl up in caves and to make tunnels underneath braided rugs to nap in.

Long-haired Toby is a 2-year-old quirky guy who adores belly rubs. He is a lot of fun to have around and play with. He is very social and outgoing, but he can be afraid about loud noises and lots of activity in the house. Then he might growl and will need some gentle reassurance to calm down.

Toby was raised as a single kitten. His rescuer was following behind a vehicle down the road and witnessed a person in that vehicle throw something out of the window. She stopped and found that they had thrown out a kitten; it was alive and uninjured and became known as Toby.
Toby likes his new "lion hair cut" that he got when he arrived at the Shelter because his fur was quite matted.

Once Toby starts hunting after a fishing rod toy, Patrick can't resist and joins the party. Toby will be the first at the door to greet you, like a puppy, but Patrick will soon follow suit and ask for pets with a big smile in his face.

Patrick and Toby are both very curious and eager to investigate what is going on. They love to make friends with everybody.  They are two comedians who live life to the fullest and who will bring a lot of affection and laughter to their new home.
