Spotlight on Juliet
Written by Helen Morrison, President, Board of Directors
In our search for Magog, we were amazed at how many other cats we encountered, outdoors, in the extreme cold, in the snow. I imagine some were owned. But probably most were strays.
In setting traps, we caught one particular torti girl 3 times. She is beautiful. Nancy P decided, on the third catch, to name her Juliet, because we had also caught another all black feline fella whom Nancy named Romeo. We took Romeo and Juliet into our care.
Juliet is so sweet and so happy to be safe and sound. She has been spayed and vaccinated and ready to find her forever home. Romeo is feral, and so Nancy found a good Samaritan locally who will give shelter in his garage to Romeo and we will provide food. Nancy made a really nice winter Shelter for Romeo.
So, in saving Magog, which was such a joy in itself, we also saved two other cats.
Very sweet!!!
