​Spotlight on The Chubby Tubbies: Evelyn and Peter

I am not sure why this happened in a wave, but over the past months, we have received five cats that were a bit too portly.  Of course, it isn’t good for them, putting them at risk of the same diseases as humans that are overweight ... diabetes, heart disease.  So, on a diet they went.  One has to do it very slowly, a little loss each month, or they run the risk of severe liver issues.  These two adorable, funny siblings, Evelyn and Peter have lost a few pounds over the last months.  I think I even saw the beginnings of a waist on Evelyn.  These two absolutely love their special room, Jennifer’s Room.  And they enjoy outings into the rest of the Shelter…especially outings to the kitchen.
After all, that is where the food is!!
These two will be a wonderful, entertaining addition to a quiet home, where they are the only apple of their human’s eye.
