Our Two Unusual Boys:  Mowgli and Akela
-Julia Persch, Board Member

These very handsome and friendly 2-year-old Oriental Shorthair brothers have big personalities and want to be at the center of their humans’ life.

For this bonded pair we are looking for a cat-savvy family who has the time, knowledge and special interest to care for two amazing and lovely cats who might demand more attention than other house cats.

Akela, the gray, is super friendly, confident, playful and adventurous, and he likes to talk about it! He is cheerful and quite vocal.

Mowgli, the light brown mini lion, is a little shy, sensitive, and very loving. He likes to be held in one’s arms, babied and reassured. He can be a picky eater.

Like many Siamese breeds, both brothers are prone to eating soft plastic, especially when they feel bored or insecure. Their family must be vigilant in keeping chewable plastic out of their reach.

Mowgli and Akela would like a lot of interaction with their people. This is important for their emotional and physical well-being. They will reward you with their exceptional and loving companionship.
