KAS Happenings
2025 KAS Cat Calendars
We now have 2025 Cat Calendars for sale! They make great gifts for your cat loving friends and family, or just a treat for yourself! The calendars are available for purchase at local stores and online. |
Giving Tuesday 2024
This Giving Tuesday, we are raising donations for our Chucky Fund. The Chucky Fund is a fund used to pay for the emergency medical care that our cats may require. |
Memorial Tree
Every year, for the past few years, we have put up a wonderful Holiday tree outside the Shelter, covered in lights. The tree is lit from December 1 to December 31. Each light is in memory of a beloved pet or person. People purchase a light as a tribute. One can buy an orange, red, blue, or green light. |
Open House
Celebrate the holidays with KAS on Saturday, December 14 from 12 - 3 PM. Join us for goodies, a raffle, and cheer! |
12 Days of Holiday Fun
The December newsletter will have its traditional tree with 12 balls. Behind each ball will be either a little bit about a Shelter cat that is available for adoption, or there will be a prize that folks can enter to win. Stay tuned, save your newsletter in an easily accessible spot…and play on. |
Animalia Art Raffle
GRACE is hosting an art fundraiser that will be donating part of their proceeds to KAS. Win an animal themed painting by James Nace. The raffle ends on December 3.

If you have some hours to give in the morning, to help clean and feed and entertain and love some Shelter cats, give Helen a call at 563-2488. Learn More |
