Cats and Roses/Bark in the Park: Mid June, when the roses bloom.
Sadly, it looks like there will not be a St. Johnsbury Pet Parade this year. It is such a wonderful Community Event. We hope that it will be back next year in 2025.
We usually have our Bark in the Park tennis ball drawing for winners at the end of the Parade.
This year, we will have our drawing during Cats and Roses, at Rod’s house on Cliff St. We have yet to find a dog to help us with the selection. And it is always a bit up in the air exactly what weekend Rod’s Roses will be at the peak. But, stay tuned. Rod will let us know in early June. In the meantime, start looking for volunteers offering tennis balls at the 3 White Markets. For a $5 donation, your name and contact information goes inside the tennis ball. If the dog picks a tennis ball with your name in it, you could win cash prizes….$500, $100, $50….or a wonderful gift basket for a lucky dog or cat.
Danville’s Autumn on the Green, the first Sunday in October.
Fall Spaghetti Dinner: Celebration of the Harvest, Celebration of Autumn
Oct. 19, 2024 United Community Church, Main St. St. Johnsbury. 5 to 7 p.m.
Wonderful homemade sauce and optional meatballs, gluten free pasta available, salad, garlic bread, beverages, infamous homemade desserts….and great raffle items.
