Lost and Found
If you have a missing animal or have found an animal, please contact us at [email protected] so that we can post the information on our website and on our Facebook page. We also recommend contacting Lost & Found Animals of Vermont (https://www.facebook.com/lostandfoundvt/) to have them list the your pet.
Any stray cats or cats with signs of abandonment that are brought in to Kingdom Animal Shelter will be on the Kingdom Animal Shelter - Facebook page. Per Vermont regulations for Shelters all stray cats will be held for 5-business days, in order to allow their owner to claim them. We check for a microchip and contact the owner if a chip is found. We require proof of ownership in the form of ID, photos, and vet records. There is a Return-to-Owner fee which helps cover the expenses incurred while the animal is in our care. If an animal is not claimed within the 5-day period, the animal will become the property of Kingdom Animal Shelter and will be moved through our adoption program.
