Malcolm
-Helen Morrison
If I only had room at my house, I would take Malcolm home in a heartbeat, though what I wish for him is a home all to himself where he can be doted on and loved and pampered. He is the very sweetest of boys.
Sometimes I wish I knew the background of some of the cats we receive. And sometimes I know the background, and wish I didn’t.
Malcolm was thrown out/left behind when his owner moved. The word is that before he left, the owner was quite abusive to Malcolm. And here is one of the beautiful things about cats, most of them. Even if abused, traumatized, they are so forgiving, so willing to move on and be sweet and gentle, and let it all go, and live in the new loving moment. Malcolm is such a cat.
He loves to be petted and stroked. He is so interested in what is going on at the Shelter, interested to meet the folks who want to visit him. He would be such a wonderful companion, cuddling up, inching his way into his human’s lap…and heart.
