Lilah
Lilah is a sweet girl about 11 years old. She is friendly and loving. Lilah’s favorite things to do are cuddle in bed, play with a laser toy, and be brushed. She also enjoys making biscuits, in fact, it seems like the biscuit making never stops! Lilah came to us because her previous owner had to move suddenly and couldn't take her with them. When she first came to Kingdom Animal Shelter, Lilah had a lot of health issues, she was overweight, had bladder stones, urinary incontinence, and infections. She also developed loss of control of her body and couldn't get up or even move for a while. After a long time of careful attention at the vet, she is now mobile, eating well, losing weight, and able to clean herself. Lilah does well with children and is tolerant of dogs. Lilah is an affectionate old lady who has recovered from pretty bad health issues, and is now ready to go to her forever home.
If you are interested in adopting Lilah (or any other cat at Kingdom Animal Shelter), please complete an adoption application and authorization for release of information form. Once completed, you can email them to [email protected] or mail them in to 1161 Portland St, St. Johnsbury, VT 05819. The application and release of information forms are available on our 'Available Cats' page.
An adoption counselor will review your application, contact 1-2 personal references and contact your veterinarian for a reference. Additionally, if you are a renter, we will contact your landlord for permission to have an animal in the household. Please allow at least 3 business days for the process to be completed.
After the review is complete, the adoption counselor will contact you, generally by email or by phone and you will be notified if your application is approved or declined. If the application is approved, you will work with the adoption counselor to work out a mutually agreed upon time and date for you to take your cat home.
