Muffin and Her Daughter, Lolly

Picture

Several weeks ago, a gentleman from a surrounding town brought a mama cat and one little 6 week old kitten into Western Avenue Vet Clinic.  He said he had found the kitten in a wood pile.  He looked for other kittens but found none.  The mama cat was a sweet soft colored grey tabby and the one little kitten a torti.  The folks at Western Ave Vet Clinic asked if Kingdom Animal Shelter would take them...and we said, yes.  Muffin went off to her foster family, and the little kitten, now Lolly, went to be with our vet.  Dr. Hunt had two young kittens that would be good playmates for Lolly.

Apparently, single kittens raised alone can become quite spoiled and precocious and demanding.  It is always better to learn how to play nicely with others!  Lolly has been having a blast with these two playmates, running, chasing, wrestling.  But she also seems to know when to be wild and crazy with some cats, and when to be respectful with others.  Lolly is headed to her new forever home in several weeks.  Her mom, Muffin, is looking for her forever home.  She is a bit shy but warms up with time and would probably do best as an only pet in a quiet home.
