New Faces at the Shelter: Kit and Lucy and Ethel
-Helen Morrison

Kit

Well, yes, Kit is a bit roly poly, a bit portly.  But really…look how endearing she is!  Please, just rub her belly, please, just tell her how adorable she is.  Kit is about 9 years old, in good health except for those few extra pounds.  She came to the Shelter on May 5 and has been enjoying living in our Playroom, complete with furniture and a cot for human napping.  If you enter her room, Kit greets you with excitement, and jumps up on the cot, ready for a nap and a snuggle.    Kit is tolerant of dogs, but has never lived with other cats or kids.  Kit is ready for her forever home, ready to be the feline apple of someone’s eye.

Lucy and Ethel

Raise your hand if you ever watched The Lucille Ball Show.  I know I did…and had a lot of laughs…about Lucy and Ricky Ricardo, and their friends, Ethel and Fred.
Well….Ethel and Lucy are back…this time as KAS felines.  They were adopted as 5 week old kittens from KAS, but now, six years later, their owner is no longer able to care for them.  And so they are back home with us.  Ethel is a sweet, friendly tabby…always engaging with her visitors, interested in what they are doing.  Lucy is a bit shy at first, but then will come forward for her own loving pets and caresses.  They would love for you to make a date to come into the Shelter for a visit.
