Our Open House: December 9, 2023

We had an absolutely fun time with our Shelter Open House on Dec. 9.  There was a steady stream of visitors, some who had been there before, some who were visiting for the first time.  Volunteers made loads for delicious cookies and such, to go along with hot coffee and hot Wassail.  Volunteers were there to give tours, including Dr. Sally, who showed off the Medical Suite.  Other volunteers had decorated the Shelter in festive Holiday spirit.  And Wendy had her own Colony Room changed into a lovely sitting room, complete with Holiday tree, her own stocking, and a cheerful “fireplace”.
It was one of those “feel good” events, all around.
