In Remembrance: Sandi Boyle
-Helen Morrison
I have in my mind’s eye, and in my heart’s eye, such a clear image of our very precious Sandi…her diminutive self, her loving to come to the Shelter, and not just tend to them with feeding and sifting boxes and giving meds, but to love the kitties, to see who was new, to see whom she might dream about taking home. She volunteered for KAS when we were in our former spot, and then took a bit of a break…but still fostering and becoming a foster failure…and then coming back to the new Shelter, sending our kitties off to dream land on Wednesday nights, well fed and tucked in with love.
We have the most wonderful photo up at the Shelter of Sandi…in
Memoriam…with a plaque that reads, in part “Sandi never met a cat she didn’t love.”
That is spot on!
I miss Sandi tremendously. We all do. Wednesday tuck in just isn’t quite the same.
