Our Other Special Needs Cats

Finnegan
Finnegan was adopted from KAS about two years ago, but was brought back to us several months ago as his new owners weren’t able to spend the time with him that he needs. He is about twelve years old, and loves nothing better than sitting in your lap and purring and being petted. He loves to take a gentle ride in the car, sitting up in your lap so he can watch the scenery go by. And he has one very beautiful tail. Finnegan will need attention to a sensitive digestive system.

Zander
Zander is a wonderfully personable five year old feline orange boy. He wants to be in the middle of everything, loves to look you in the eye, reach up and touch you gently on your face. He has a sense of humor in the way he sometimes interacts with other cats. He does have three issues that will need monitoring, but they are easy: keeping his eyes clean, putting a salve on his chin now and then, and keeping his right ear clean.

Sammie the Pirate
Sammie, the Pirate came to KAS several months ago. He is about a year old and has a very small, non-functional left eye, hence the name, Sammie, the Pirate. Our vet thinks he was born with this condition or had an infection very early on in his life. Sammie is extremely friendly, and loves a good meal. We are very grateful to the couple in N. Danville who tended to this sweet stray and brought him in to find his forever home. Sammie will need a special diet, monitoring his eye, and making sure one ear stays clean and clear.
