​Greetings to All Our Kingdom Animal Shelter Volunteers, Supporters, and Donors

On behalf of the entire Board, it is my pleasure to wish all of our wonderful volunteers, supporters, and donors a very Happy Thanksgiving. Your giving all year long is really the true meaning of the holiday season which you spread all through the year. All of our volunteers have made possible the care of so many cats and kittens this past year.
 
Also very important are some of the behind-the-scenes volunteers who help make all this happen. The fundraising activities, bookkeeping, accounting, financial gifts from donors, and writing thank you cards are all just as important as the front-of-the-house operations inside the shelter. Without those who will sit and sell calendars and Bark in the Park tickets, we would not be able to help as many cats as we do. Without our foster families that take cats in need into their homes which are mostly kittens and other cats with special needs, we would not be able to help as many felines as we do. Many of you wear several different hats and help with multiple jobs and activities for which we are very grateful.
 
A huge shout-out and thank you is in order also to our many donors! People giving to the Appeals letter, and patronizing our various events: Butler's yard sales, Cats and Roses, Bark in the Park, the Spaghetti Dinner, and Calendar purchases, to name a few, are the financial lifeblood of our organization.
 
Many thanks to all those who have adopted from us this year. Providing a warm loving house for a homeless animal makes all the work we do meaningful and worthwhile.
 
The Community Fund and our support and donations to Kingdom Community Services which operates the local Food Shelf is another way we contribute to the welfare of local animals and their human families. This provides a big boost to people in need this Thanksgiving and all year around.
