The Gift of Promise

Small packages….. protectors of new life, promises of hope, structures of strength, symbols of newness. Eggs…a tiny new bird, growing within. Bulbs…a new plant, flower, stem, leaves for a tulip, a daffodil, a crocus. A young cat’s womb…the safe, warm place of growth and nourishment for five tiny black kittens. We are always in need of these promises, of new life, new beginnings, shelter, nourishment, strength. Imagine the miracle….the renewal in each, the new beginnings. And of course, within all that, we need the miracle of smiles and a bit of laughter to bubble up, into this new season of Sunshine and Spring.
