Update on Fawn
-Helen Morrison
What a joyful and wonderful transformation Fawn is making. You may remember that she came to us a few months ago, quite agitated and nervous, having probably come from a drug house.
Her eyes were wild, she was totally food insecure, she was unsettled, not well-socialized, and missing fur and having scabs all over from fleas.
But she is doing wonderfully well at the Shelter. Her fur is sleek and beautiful. Her eyes are much calmer. And she now blends her interest in her meals with her desire to play and explore. She will sit on your lap and let you pet her for a bit. She will give you face rubs. Some of us can even hug her and squeeze her….and she loves it. And she loves to have conversations.
Her journey is the kind that makes her human caretakers glow with pride. She is on the road to being her best self. When the right family comes along, one that is cat savvy, that knows her history and understands how to be with her in a gentle and loving way, she will be a total joy in their lives.
