Update on Fawn
-Christine Fournier
Fawn is a 1 year old gorgeous orange, black and white torti who arrived at the shelter in January after coming from an unstable home environment.
Initially she was quite uncertain both mentally and emotionally, her previous life was chaotic and unpredictable and that resulted in her behavior being very reactive and scared.
During her time with us, the focus has been on building relationships, providing consistent, gentle love and affection in order to build her trust and learn that people are safe and loving.
We are happy to share that Fawn has come a long way!
She is blossoming into the sweet, gentle cat she deserves to be.
We know Fawn will attract a lot of attention due to her amazing coloring and beauty, but we will want to take our time to find the perfect home to meet her needs.
Fawn would do best in a calm home where routines are predictable, people are consistent and she can trust her environment to be safe.
She is not a fan of other cats, so someone who will be home a lot of the time would be wonderful so she is not alone for hours throughout the day.
Fawn is looking for a patient, gentle soul to bond with who can take their time and develop a relationship with her for life.
To meet Fawn or any of our other available cats for adoption we are open Saturdays 12-3pm or you can contact the shelter for more information and someone from the adoption team will reach out to you.
